Desert Trip from Agadir (4 days)

1st day: in the morning departure from Agadir to visit the Kasbah of Tarundant, the oldest imperial city among the lesser known with its authentic atmosphere far from the mass tourist circuit. Arrival in the afternoon to the ancient Berber village of Taliouine, mountain (1500 meters of altitude) known for the production of Saffron. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

2nd day: after a traditional breakfast we will take the road towards the village of Foum Zguid, to arrive at Taznakht where we will visit a cooperative of Berber carpets made by women of the surrounding villages. In the afternoon we will arrive at ERG Chigaga, the great dune in the very desert, with dinner and overnight in a nomads bivouac, night with traditional music Sahrawi.

3rd day: in the morning we will arrive at M’hamid, the “gate of the desert”, with a short walk in the desert with camels. Lunch in Zagora, with a visit in the afternoon of the Qur’anic library of Tamagroute. Continuation towards the Valley of Drâa via Agdez, dinner and accommodation in a riad of the most ancient kasbah of the valley (Kasbah of Tamnougalt).

4th day: in the morning departure from Ouarzazate towards Agdez, lunch and afternoon visit to the Kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou. Located 30 km away from Ouarzazate, Ait Ben Haddou is an ancient Berber Kasbah, under the UNESCO protection which has kept intact the architecture and the rhythms of life. Return to Agadir or, by choice, Marrakesh in the evening.
