Start your day with a drive to the banana village of Aourir followed by a journey to the Berber village of Alma. Watch the scenery change along with the altitude as gorges, rivers, limestone plateaus, and prosperous valleys with palm groves, pine trees, almond trees, argan trees, and medicinal herb plantations all make appearances. Arrive in the aptly named green Paradise Valley and make your way along the path that leads to Inrarn. Learn about the area’s thyme and lavender honey, and discover the daily life of area populations as they carry out their agricultural activities. Once in Inrarn, experience Berber hospitality firsthand when you share a traditional Berber breakfast of mint tea, argan oil, honey, and tasty homemade bread. After breakfast, travel beyond the mountains to a hidden valley with natural botanical gardens, where narrow footpaths offer lovely scenery and fantastic views of the mountains.
