A little majesty in Zagora – 2 days/1 night – Departure Marrakesh

For those who have little time but wish to get a glimpse and taste of the desert, this is the ideal trip.  It is a two-day journey across the High Atlas Mountains and the Dra’a valley to reach the Tinfou dunes near Zagora.

The Valleys of the South – 3 days/2 nights – Departure Marrakesh

A trip leading through the two most famous valleys of the south: the Dades and the Dra’a.  You have a short but full impresssion of this area of Morocco with its mountains, gorges, valleys, kasbahs, rivers, rock formations, oases and dunes, not to mention the splendour of the night sky, the sunset and the sunrise as well as the hospitality of the Sahara.

Camels in Mhamid, stars in Cheggaga – 3 days/2 nights – Departure Marrakesh

A short trip across the High Atlas mountains, descending past the oases and kasbahs of the Dra’a valley as far as the dunes at Erg Lihoudi in Mhamid El Ghizlane.   From Mhamid you continue out into the dunes at Cheggaga, where the silence and the expanse of dunes are breath-taking. You spend the first night in a kasbah and the next in nomad tents in the desert.

Kasbahs, Dra’a, dunes – 4 days/3 nights – Departure Marrakesh

Kasbahs and dunes are the highlights of this tour with the additional pleasures of crossing the High Atlas and descending the Dra’a valley to follow the ancient route of the caravans from across the Sahara.  Spend a night in a kasbah and then two magical nights in a bivouac of nomad tents.

From desert to sea – 5 days/4 nights – Departure Marrakesh

The dryness of the desert and the refreshing sea air – all in one trip, starting from Marrakesh and ending in Essaouira for a night.  Start by crossing the High Atlas and a visit to Ait Ben Haddou, continue to the far dunes of Cheggaga via Zagora. take to the mountains again via Tarroudant and the Tizi-n-Test pass near Toubkal, the highest mountain in north Africa.  In Essaouira you can relax, shop and enjoy fresh fish.

Dades, Zagora and Erg Cheggaga – 5 days/4 nights – Departure Marrakesh

This route is designed for those who would like to see the gorges in the Dades valley but prefer to seek out the desert in the distant dunes of Cheggaga where the silence and extent of rolling dunes are majestic and overwhelming.

Spanning the Imperial Cities – 5 days/4 nights – Departure Marrakesh

This trip takes you from Marrakesh to Fes by way of the High Atlas mountains, the valleys and gorges of the south of Morocco.  You spend two nights in the dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga with a camel trek of one day, before continuing across the Middle Atlas to Fes.

The Majestic Dunes – 5 days/4 nights – Departure Marrakesh

Get right out into the distant dunes to experience the dunes of Erg Lihoudi at Mhamid and Erg Cheggaga, where you are far away from villages and surrounded by a sea of dunes and the expansive silence.  At night there is a panoply of stars to watch and dream under.

This is one our longest trips, as it encompasses the Erg Chebbi dunes at Merzouga, as well as the dunes south of Zagora at Erg Cheggaga.  So you manage to see all the varying landscapes and features of this part of Morocco – kasbahs, valleys, gorges, dunes, bivouacs, oases, Berbers and nomads.

Highest mountains,  highest dunes – 7 days/6 nights – Departure Marrakesh

This is a longer circuit than others, going over Tizi-n-Test in the High Atlas on the way south and Tizi-n-Tichka on the return.  In between you go through the saffron valley, and later the valley of the roses.  And in between lie the dunes of Cheggaga and Erg Chebbi in Merzouga, the oases  and gorges of the south.

All the Majesty of the South – 8 days/7 nights – Departure Marrakesh

Mhamid and the Dra’a Valley – 2 days/1 night – Departure Ouarzazate

Majestic Erg Chebbi – 3 days/2 nights – Departure Ouarzazate

You don’t have much time but just have to get to the desert for a taste of the dunes and a camel ride!  If this is the case for you,  then take this brief trip. Take in the spectacular rock formations, valleys and oases along the way for an overview of the scenery of this part of Morocco.

Majestic southern dunes – 3 days/2 nights – Departure Ouarzazate

For dunes and desert this is the trip to take!  Down the Dra’a valley to the end of the road and the start of the desert at Mhamid and then off into the remote dunes of Erg Cheggaga, where there is nothing but a sea of sand and silence.

Dunes, valleys, gorges – 4 days/3 nights – Departure Ouarzazate

This trip comprises the gems of the south with two nights in a bivouac and one in a riad.  Four days are spent travelling along the Dra’a valley and out into the Sahara.  At the end a visit to Ait Ben Haddou, the most famous kasbah in Morocco, is on the schedule, with the rest of the day in the Dades gorges.

Agadir – desert and back – 5 days/4 nights – Departure Agadir

You’re in Agadir but you still want to see the famous gorges, rock formations and colours of the Dades valley.  And you want a camel ride in the Erg Chebbi dunes  in Merzouga – that red sand you’ve seen in all the photos.  So here is the trip you need.

Saffron, roses, mountains, desert – 7 days/6 nights – Departure Agadir

This trip is for those wishing to spend some time at the beach first but do not want to forgo the desert experience.  It differs, too, in that it passes the “little Marrakesh” of the far south and the valley of saffron before reaching the desert, kasbahs, valleys, oases and gorges of the area south of the High Atlas.

This is trip is for all those who would like a very personal, accompanied trip, starting in Casablanca and travelling to  the Imperial cities of Rabat, Meknes and Fes. Then we go across the Middle Atlas to the desert and gorges and finally pass over  the High Atlas to arrive in Marrakesh.  We stop at each city to see the sights and spend the night in a traditional riad.  In the desert you take a camel ride and spend the night in a traditional nomad tent.
