The Imperial cities

This itinerary can be of many days, depending on the places you would like to visit. The main Imperial cities to include in your itineraries are :

Marrakech is founded by Youssef Ben Tachefine during the Almoravides period. With all its Historical monuments, walls and gardens, its culture and its typical tourism infra-structure (style hotels and riads), the red city has become one of the best destination cities in the world..
Rabat is the administrative capital of Morocco and is one of the imperial cities. It is located on the left bank of the Bou Regreg River with a temperate climate. Fes, founded in 789 by Idriss 1st , the Religious capital of the country. This Medieval medina has many interesting sites : The attarine & Bouanania Medersas, the Nejjarine Fountain, the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum and the Quaraouine mosque.

Meknes, founded in the 10th century, Meknes is one of the four imperial cities in Morocco. There you have three points of interest: the Moulay Ismail landmarks, South East; the souqs (shops) and narrow streets of the Medina, North; and the Jewish quarter, (the Mellah), South West.

Casablanca, Economical capital known for its grandiose mosque Hassan II.Tanger : Nice port city on teh extreme north offering both the Atlantic and the Mediterranean views.
Chefchaouen, This is a beautiful area in the Rif Mountains. Lots of trees, rivers etc
