Morocco by Quad: South Agadir by Quad

DAY 1 : Arrival to Agadir :
Reception at the airport of d’Agadir and transfer to your hotel located in the seaside capital of the Souss, Agadir is primarily a beach endless sunshine and a record 300 days a year! A city that could compare to the resorts of southern Europe, where sea and relaxation will be waiting for you … All this three-hour flight from home!
DAY 2 : Agadir – Mirleft (130 km).
Riad Breakfast at your hotel and transfer by minibus to our starting point located a few kilometers further south. Delivery of the equipment, briefing by your guide and introduction to the handling of your machine you expect … The adventure can begin! Starting along the coast and its fishing shelters dug into the cliff. After lunch, we take the direction of Takata across the plain of Souss, a track that crosses the small Berber villages and plantations along pears. You will pass through a nature reserve which combines pink flamingos, blue tits, cranes and the last specimens of the bald ibis. After the villages of Massa and Tassilla, return to the sea to join Mirleft. Dinner and accommodation at Riad Three Camels.
DAY 3 : Mirleft – Sidi Ifni – Foum Assaka (100 km).
After a bivouac superb night overlooking the ocean, you circumvent the tip of the Atlas by Sidi Ifni. A multitude of caves, bays, inlets and islands along your route. Poursuire along the coast by a track meandering depending on the hills that stretch of euphorbias the eye. Arriving late in the day to Foum Assaker and nomadic tent installation for a silent night rocked by the ocean.
DAY 4 : Foum Assaka – Plage Blanche – Fort Bou Jerif (90 km).
Breakfast Motel on the pebble beach. Back on the slopes of the interior and visit the magnificent fort abandoned Oued Noumi dating from the period of the protectorate. You Piquerez then to the sea to reach the lagoon Assaker. Forty-five kilometers of sandy plain, bordered on one side by the ocean, fringed by the waves, and the other by the hard sand cliffs await you! You are not dreaming: you are in Plage Blanche. Shining sand, soft dunes and near the drive near the water. On the tracks “technical” from the Anti-Atlas, but rolling sown with pitfalls, you’ll reach in late afternoon a stop in Fort Bou berbère Jerif. DAY 5 : Fort Bou Jerif – Barrage Ben Tachfine (200 km).
Bivouac Breakfast in the heart of the Anti-Atlas and visit the old fort. Reluctantly, you leave Fort Bou Jerif by the runway to reach the tar that will lead us to Guelmim old city gate of the Moroccan desert. Now you make one with your machine … The track winds, rises and falls in beautiful landscapes, dry and stony. Of fun between the dry stone walls bordering the fields of pear and argan … Welcome to Ben Tachfine Dam, a mammoth building, a real curiosity in full Moroccan aridity. The framework, beautiful and soothing, is the ideal place for a bivouac. Sit on the edge of the wadi to Aït Ahmed, on the historic site of Souk Aarbe Aït Ahmed, a well-deserved good night sleep!
DAY 6 : Barrage Ben Tachfine – Agadir (200 km).
Hotel Last day raid, wheel tracks, but also techniques of the Anti-Atlas lead you between the ocean and mountains in landscapes and magnificent views towards Tiznit. In a way the final mix before reaching M’Zar term of this great adventure, where you attend the minibus that takes you back to Agadir. Transfer to your hotel for an evening undoubtedly lively! But your dreams do not leave the cliffs …
DAY 7 : Agadir – Free day.
With average temperature neither too hot nor too cold, Agadir is displayed as a tourist destination first. That’s good, because the day is free! Ideal to enjoy the beach, take a walk in the city and Medina, perhaps an exit to Essaouira, the old “Mogador”, or why not you start surfing. If you are still attacking, we recommend the Honey road, probably the most interesting trips in the area. It sometimes crosses the barren hills, sometimes green oases. The views of the valley and surrounding mountains worth the trip! In all cases, keep a little free time to enjoy a tajine in one of the many restaurants. Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Agadir.
DAY 8 : Agadir – Airport (28 km).
Moroccan breakfast before your transfer to the airport and your flight back to France. It will be very hard to return to work after such a scene … But we will plan your next trip !
