Day 1 – Casablanca | Asilah

Day 1 – Casablanca | Asilah
The driver will be waiting for you at the airport. Departure to Asilah, an ancient Portuguese village. Asilah is a small and quiet  town, surrounded by a wall built during the Portuguese rule. The white and blue of the sea or the painted doors, are predominant colors. We suggest a walk around the outside of the walls along the cliffs. On the inside, a tour in the Medina and a foray into the two bastions that can be visited, which provide an unforgettable view over the city and coast. Dinner and night in a Dar.

Day 2 – El Jadida | Oualidia
In the morning we set off towards El Jadida, old Portuguese city, declared as Unesco World Heritage Site in 2004. You will go for a tour at the ramparts, where there is has a good view over the Medina, the sea and the docks. There are signs of Portuguese architectural details such as doors topped by arches of masonry. You will discover other portuguese traces in the Assumption Church, the entrance to the main door, and the names of the streets. You will listen to the locals talking proudly about the history in common with the Portuguese. Visit the Portuguese cistern. Departure to Oualidia, a lovely beach, semicircular, protected from the ocean by a barrier of small islets, yet overlooked by large hotel complexes. Dinner and night in a Riad.

Day 3 – Essaouira
In the morning you can go for a stroll along the lovely beach. It is a quiet beach with an attractive pond where you can have for lunch a delicious seafood, especially the oysters. After breakfast departure towards Essaouira, start the journey to Essaouira, fishing village, old Mogador, name given by the Portuguese. Known for its annual festival of Gnoua. Dinner in the main square Prince Moulay el Hassan and night at a Riad.

Day 4 – Essaouira | Marrakech
You will have the day free. Visit the Medina, declared Unesco World Heritage Site, as an example of a fortified city of the century XVIII. Its port is a typical example of Moorish and Portuguese architecture. Lunch in a typical restaurant on the beach, with fresh fish just arrived from the port. Essaouira is known for its beach ideal for practicing sports such as surfing and windsurfing. Arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon. Marrakech, known as the Red City or Al Hamra. Visit its Souks with brilliant colors and exotic fragrances, and its famous Medina. Dinner at Jemaa El-Fna square in one of the small outdoor restaurants that spreads smells all over the square. Drums and trumpets repeat the sounds that enchant serpents brought from the deserts. Storytellers, which continue indefinitely their narratives, psychics and astrologers draw down the future of their clients and healers meticulously describe the healing properties of a wide variety of herbs. Night at a Riad in the Medina.

Day 5 – Marrakech
Visit the famous Mosque of Koutubia century. XII. Then time for a tour in the Medina and its Souks, and explore some more of Marrakech’s secrets, the Mosque El Mansour, El Badi Palace, built by order of Ahmed el-Mansour, now in ruins, but considered as one of the most beautiful in the world. The Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palace, built in the nineteenth century, is another mandatory script and one of the finest examples of Muslim architecture in the old imperial capital. Night at a Riad.

Day 6 – Transfer to Casablanca
After breakfast, transfer to the airport in Casablanca. End of our services.
